What are the main strengths and weaknesses?

What are the Strengths and Weaknesses of the Main Navigation System?
I have compared my own findings with an evaluation on SchoolZone: -

Espresso is very user friendly, the home page particularly so. There is a lot of use of colour and graphics.	The front page is very colourful and the children love to see it, unfortunately the moving graphics sometimes distract, especially when using the whiteboard.
Main curriculum areas are easy to find and organised by key stages and subjects.	The type of navigation described can be quite tedious; to get the page you want you need to navigate through several others.
Interaction with the computer is almost always by point and click or drag, making it very easy even for the youngest child to access	This is very true, the children love to use Espresso, it reaches children of all abilities.

My conclusions are that Espresso is user friendly and colourful, but this can sometimes detract from the lesson, the navigation system has been designed for the children, and that is good. Teaching staff, searching for resources, however find navigation bewildering, there is just too much to digest.

There are a few helpful features, but they are not quite as helpful as one might have hoped
