3. PowerPoint is the best software to use.
When I first set about making these maps, I automatically turned to PowerPoint. However, finding it tedious to use, I looked for software which is specifically designed for mind – mapping and found this much easier. E MindMap1 is simple to use, and with the keyboard shortcuts you can make rapid progress. I found that the simple design made it possible to put much larger amounts of information onto one page.
The main Maths and English pages, though on one page came out very small, so I enlarged these onto A3 when I photocopied them.

• It is worth investing in good mind-mapping software for my work.
